


University Extension has access to research from the University of Missouri and other states and provides this to Missouri citizens through offices in nearly every county in the state. Well trained field faculty conduct workshops, meetings and provide information in their counties.
University of Missouri extension provides programs on energy efficiency for homes, farms, business and industry and communities throught Missouri. Another part of the energy efforts are to provide programs on alternative energy sources including solar, wind and biofuels. Workshops will be conducted throughout Missouri on biofuels to help farmers, industry and communities make this a sustainable alternative fuel alternative.
